25 Years of Lowell High School Rowing

Lowell High School Rowing is thrilled to be celebrating 25 years of rowing out of the UML Bellegarde Boathouse, after hitting the water for the first time in 1997! With the support of the LHS Athletic Department, this program has served hundreds (if not thousands) of athletes from this amazing city. We've set some big goals for this year, and we will need support from the whole Lowell Rowing community to reach them! One of our immediate needs is new equipment; we're hoping to upgrade some of the boats that have been serving us well for many years, and also expand our inventory to include more small boats. This will allow us to increase opportunities for our athletes, giving them skills on the water that will serve them well in high school and beyond. We are incredibly proud to be one of only a few programs in the country with no participation fees. If LHS Rowing has had a positive impact on you or someone that you care about in the last 25 years, we hope you will consider a donation to the program to help us introduce rowing to the next generation of Lowell athletes. All contributions will go directly to buying new equipment for the team so that we can be faster and better than ever. We are lucky to have such an extensive network of alumni, family, and friends whose lives have been touched by Lowell Rowing. We are grateful for your support on and off the water and can't wait to show you everything that we can do as a result of your kindness and generosity!
