Hi! Im Linda Sockwell and Im raising money to help my sister, Judy Marlow and her husband Tony Marlow.
Tony was diagnosed in September 2015 with Larynx cancer. He had it removed, in which they also had to take his voicebox. He had a trach in which is now how he breathes. He completed his radiation and was told they were successful.
About a week later, Tony was helping some friends out and pulled something in his back. He went to the Dr. and was told it was a disc and wanted to do an MRI. So they scheduled it. Then Friday came along before Mothers Day, and he went to East Texas with Judy to see her parents. While there, he got to hurting really bad. So we loaded Tony up Saturday night and went to the hospital in Nacogdoches, TX. Not good.
After several tests, they came back saying his cancer was back and all over his body. Gave him 2 weeks. Wanted to admit him then to Hospice, but chose to come home.
Once home on Sunday, he returned to the hospital, in which they gave him hope and did more test. Told him not to pack his bags yet.
Well, bone scans and biopsies are showing that it is back...its in his legs, back, ribs and liver and doing radiation for pain control. Hoping to go home today from JPS.
Judy has stayed by his side and has missed over 2 weeks of work. So Ive started this....to help all I can...and for those of you have asked what they can do to help......
