My Husband's Funeral Expenses

My husband, Scott Longston passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, after a short illness. It was unexpected, and I'm now left without the man I shared my life with for over 40 years.
I had to put the cost of his cremation, death certificate, and other mortuary costs on my VISA card. Those costs came to just a few dollars shy of $2000, which will increase my monthly VISA payments above what I can afford.
My job is just part-time right now, and I don't know if I will be able to get Social Security Survivor's Benefits. I need to try to keep up on my mortgage payments as long as possible, plus utilities, so any help you can give in covering the cost of Scott's funeral will be most deeply appreciated.
