Help with Odie's Medical Bills

Hi friends of Odie,

When Odie wandered over from the East courtyard and onto my balcony in May, I knew he was a special guy. At first he was so skittish and scared, and after months of spending time amongst all of us, he grew into the sweet little man we’ve all come to love.

Sadly, Odie became very ill and was unable to keep any food down, leading to rapid weight loss. He spent the last couple days in the ER receiving medical treatment to hopefully improve his outcome. Tests indicated it could be Irritable Bowel Disease or small cell GI lymphoma.

We treated his symptoms to see if he could stabilize and keep down food. Unfortunately, Odie succumbed to what was most likely a tumor in his small intestine. He was surrounded by friendly faces and so much love that he purred right until the end.

We opted to have his ashes returned to us so we can have a scattering ceremony in the East courtyard garden, the place he called home.

His final costs from two hospitals and end of life care came to $4,954.11. If you can help pitch in any amount, we would be so grateful. GoFundMe does not have a place to upload files, so please let us know if you would like to see receipts before donating.
