Save My Employees Home

Hello, My name is Buddy. At age 45 I ventured into the world of self employment, and got out of corporate America to have greater control of mine and my families future. In January 2006 I purchased and opened a kitchen and bath home remodeling company. For the last 10 years we have had ups and downs like any business. This year has been one of the most difficult years in our great history. At the peak of our past I employed close to 20 people. My people are what makes us a leader in this industry in Knoxville, TN. Today we only have around 14 people. The most affected group of employees is our field workers. Last night I was informed that this employee was in trouble with his mortgage, and has fallen way behind.  This employee has been with us almost from the start, and is loved by all. This current down turn in our business just kills me, as I try to treat everyone like family. Today I reached out to this employee to see how I could help. He is an older gentleman and is very proud, so getting info was difficult. He finally shared with me, that he is trying to get some mortgage assistance thru some of the government programs that are available. One of the criterion is he has to be current on his property taxes. He is also behind on that and does not have the 3000.00 to get current. He has been  paying on his mortgage for 27 years and only owes a little bit more than 10,000 on it.
I can not allow this mans life to crumble in the years he is suppose to begin to slow down. I have never done anything like this before, but I know that there are good people in the world that have generous hearts and can help me take care of this burden for him. So please I am begging for just any amount to help him out. He could use more than my goal, and I have several other employees that are having difficulties paying there bills, so any extra that is received will all go to a general fund to help everyone. I have committed 1000.00 of my own personal money to this cause. The most urgent need is to pay off the tax debt so we can get the mortgage assistance. Paying off the mortgage is more of a gift that I would like to do, than an urgent need
