Dear Friends,
God is on the move in my life. I have recently been diagnosed with triple negative, stage 4 breast cancer- a rare and aggressive disease. It’s taken some time to sink in. It’s been anything but easy, but it has brought me closer to God and I am trusting in Him completely. I know he has the best plan for my life, but not without me working to fight this disease.
I have been to the Cancer Center and was told I may have 2-6 years, maybe 10, but would have to go through 12 weeks of chemo, then surgery, then radiation of my neck, with no guarantees. And if I responded to treatment I might have a 70% chance of coming out of this – not without side effects.
I believe God gave us an immune system that can heal our bodies, providing we eat well, and take care of ourselves the way God intended. I do not want to work against this with conventional treatments, it just doesn’t make sense to me. So I am doing everything I can to bring myself back to health. I never thought I could eat so well – No sugar, none. It’s amazing what we can do when we have to. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” And I can get through this.
After MUCH research and prayer, I have decided to go to Texas, where I have been accepted by the Burzynski Clinic. His motto is “First, do no harm”. Dr Burzynski works with antineoplastons which are found in the blood and urine of all healthy people, but not in people with cancer. He has been treating cancers this way for over 30 years and has a great success rate.
So my dear friends, who mean more to me now than ever, I am asking for your prayers. And if you could help financially, it would be greatly appreciated. I had to leave my job, and the Burzynski Clinic will probably cost $60,000 or more. Any amount will help. If you are unable to help financially, I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
So I continue my journey, knowing that God is in control and trusting Him every step of the way. And I thank God for all my friends, my family, my church and all that He has blessed me with! We have an amazing God!!!
