Sweet Caroline-Round 2 for the Knockout

Early December, Caroline learned she had a rare cervical cancer, requiring a radical hysterectomy. Her follow up appointment a week later the pathology report showed lymph node involvement. In a nanosecond life changed for Caroline, Austin, Maui and Butters. A trip to Moffitt Cancer Center this week set the plan for recovery in motion. Next week a port will be placed and shortly there after radiation will begin requiring Caroline and Austin to move to the Tampa area while in treatment. Additionally chemo therapy will be scheduled. The outpouring of love, care and desire to help Caroline has been so very therapeutic for her as she prepares for the days ahead. So many have asked how they could help and this a very good place to start. Not being able to return to work for a significant period of time, moving across the state for treatment, insurance co-pays (add in new year starts new deductibles) short term disability =less than 60% of wages after taxes, housing, and the list of needs will grow and this why a gofundme account will be the best source of help to Caroline and Austin. At 37 our sweet, beautiful, Caroline would not have foreseen a December as this.
