Help keep Dalton safe!

Dalton is a bright, beautiful 2 year-old boy who tragically lost his mother on September 13th, 2020 to a heroin overdose.
Let me give you some background on Dalton, a lot has happened to him in his short 2 years of life: In April of 2020 Dalton was found in the road with just a diaper on. His alleged father, Don, had overdose on a fentnayl laced oxy (according to Don’s sister) and had to be narcaned three times to retrieve him. Allen County Children Services of course got involved, investigated and determined that Don was not allowed to be alone with Dalton due to safety concerns for Dalton. Soon after - maybe a couple months - Jessica and Don (alleged father) had broken-up, so Jessica and Dalton moved in with Jessica’s parents. Children Services was still involved at this point and was aware of the new living arrangement with no objections.
Then on Sunday, September 13 Jessica overdosed on heroin. Dalton stayed with Jessica’s parents and Allen County Children Services told Jessica’s mom that is where he belonged due to no DNA and no father listed on the birth certificate. Jessica’s mother and father told Don that he could come and visit anytime to see Dalton. The goal is not to keep Dalton away from Don but Dalton deserves to be in a stable, safe home – especially as he tries to cope and understand what happened to his mommy. Unfortunately at this time Don cannot provide a proper home life due to being addicted to pills and not having a job to support Dalton – and to be frank, we do not want Dalton neglected again because of an overdose. On Monday, September 21st, Don contacted Jessica’s mom to come over and see Dalton. Don and his mother came over where Don was welcomed inside to see Dalton. While inside there was an altercation between Don and Jessica’s mom. Don assaulted Jessica’s mom and then ran outside with Dalton. Jessica’s mother then got up from the assault and ran outside to try to get Dalton out of the car seat. Don’s mother assaulted Jessica’s mom next and then after, Jessica’s mom asked Don’s mom to remove her hands from her, Don assaulted Jessica‘s mom again by coming behind her and throwing her to the ground. Yes, the cops were called and charges have been filed against Don and Don’s mother.
We are just for a loss for words because this is not how Dalton should be spending to try to figure out why his life was just flipped upside down without his mother’s loving embrace around him anymore. With that being said Jessica‘s mom and dad are in the process of fighting for custody to keep Dalton in a safe and stable home. Our family is asking for any help that anybody could possibly give towards this legal battle so we can make it possible for Dalton to have a safe and stable home. You can either donate to this go fund me page or contact myself or Lori Rowe and we could give you the lawyer’s information to donate directly to him. We would like to thank everybody for your outpouring of support and love giving to us during this difficult time.
