Funeral and Medical Expense

Hi, my name is Cheryl Bretz and I am Bobbie Kreiser’s friend. As most of you know Royalton had a devastating fire on Sunday night where one life was lost, William “Bill” Hardy. Bill was a life long member of the community for both Royalton and Middletown. Bill loved to be on the river fishing and in his younger years often seen with one of his beloved dogs driving through town. Unfortunately Bill was not one to look to the future and therefore had no life insurance policy in place. Bill was a simple man, would do anything for anyone but never asked for help for himself. On behalf of Bobbie his sister and family we ask this community for donations toward Bills funeral services and expenses.

Along with a lose of life, Shawn Meaner another life long community member and volunteer firefighter for Middletown was seriously injured in the fire attempting to rescue Bill and his beloved dog Max. Any donations that exceed Bills funeral expense’s will be donated to the Middletown Volunteer Fire Company on behalf of Shawn Meaner for his medical expenses.

Bobbie and her family would like to thank everyone from the multiple fire departments and first responders who came together Sunday night to battle this devastating fire and put there lives on the line that fateful night.
