**UPDATE** Yesterday our sweet Joanie went home to Jesus, thank you all for your generosity and support through this incredibly difficult time. Please continue to pray our family. We have been overwhelmed with the blessings of the community of friends and family who have been so generous to donate and help my parents. The next few months are going to be very difficult for my dad and we are praying God will guide him and bless him. If you feel so led, please continue to share this go fund me. We lost a beautiful, precious life and I know she felt so loved by each and every one of you rooting her on. Heaven truly gained a perfect angel. **** In the Fall of 2018, everything changed quickly and drastically for Dale and Joanie Mowery. Within weeks of each other, they were each diagnosed with cancer. Joanie was diagnosed with breast cancer and Dale with rectal cancer. Both underwent chemo and radiation along with invasive surgeries including Joanie’s double mastectomy and dales complicated procedures as well They both continued chemo and radiation until they were each in remission. We were so disheartened when a few months ago, Joanie started experiencing severe pain in her right rib. After many scans and tests she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Despite the many treatments and options they have tried at a wonderful facility in Atlanta, Ga., the cancer has continued to aggressively progress and is now in her brain. We know Dale and Joanie have many friends and family who have been following their journey. So many of you have been praying along side of them. Right now, they are having to make very difficult life-decisions. We want to alleviate some of the financial difficulties, so that they can focus on the most important and beautiful thing—which is Joanie and her life.
