WE RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT TYLER HAS DEVELOPED STEVEN JOHNSON SYNDROME ... WE AT FIRST HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOIN ON WITH HIM AS HE STARTED WITH A FLU LIKE ILLNESS AND THEN WOKE UP ONE MORNING WITH HIS LIPS SWOLLEN .. DRS THOUGHT IT WAS HSV (HERPES SIMPLEX) BUT AFTER IT ALL GOT WORSE WE HAD TO TAKE HIM TO THE ALL CHILDRENS HOSPITAL IN ST PETERSBURG ... WHERE HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SJS  ITS A VERY RARE DISEASE THAT COMES FROM AN INFECTION FROM WITHIN BASICALLY A VIRUS it is a serious problem. Most often, it's a severe reaction to a medicine you've taken. but in this case was from a viral infection, It causes your skin to blister and peel off. It affects your mucus membranes, too. Blisters also form inside your body, making it hard to eat, swallow, even pee He hasn't eaten but 2 eggs in almost 7 days!! As this progresses it could and possibly land him in the burn unit ,unfortunatley there is no cure ,or any medications to help it . at this point all we can do is manage pain and let the sjs take its coarse .. time could be weeks to months even a year! The entire process will be in the hospital and we are hoping to raise some money for the long extended stay that he may incure ! Anything to help out with the extensive hospital bills , fuel to and from the hospital as it is about a 30-40 minute ride, and prayers would be much greatly appreciated !!
