25th world Scout Jamboree South Korea 2023

Hi I’m mum to Morgan who has been lucky enough to represent 5th Bolton Moorland at the 25th world scout jamboree in South Korea in August 2023. To be selected She had to submit a written application form to take part in a selection day where she was assessed in a range of different areas . Out of 67 applicants only 36 were lucky enough to be selected . Being part of this event is an honour. She will be joining 40.000 scouts from all around the world. Joining the young people from all over the world will allow her to learn from them and hopefully educate them on our culture. This life changing adventure will enable Morgan to positively support others in the long term within scouting and in her personal life as she brings back and shares what she has learned. Fundraising is the key part of the experience and now has the challenge of raising £4000 , this covers the cost of the training weekends and the Jamboree itself. Morgan has all ready started to fund raise and has lots of ideas for the up coming months.
