Help Me Buy a Headstone for My Son

In 2007 my 20-year-old son, Kyle Brennan, died of a gunshot wound to the head while visiting his Scientologist father in Clearwater, Florida (site of the Church of Scientology’s headquarters). The circumstances surrounding his violent death—and the subsequent behavior of the police and those involved—were, and still remain, extremely suspicious. The Clearwater Police Department, for example, horribly mismanaged their “investigation” into Kyle’s death: crucial evidence was either not gathered, not processed, or lost. And the defendants in the wrongful-death lawsuit I filed—Kyle’s father and the celebrity Scientologists he was associated with—told the police innumerable baldfaced lies regarding their whereabouts at the time of my son’s death. What’s worse, the Clearwater Police inserted easily discernible lies into the police report they issued. (For more information, go to “The Truth for Kyle Brennan” at [email redacted].)
All of this—the lies, the mishandling of information, the obstruction of justice—contributed to my wrongful-death lawsuit being dismissed by the federal court in Florida. Now, nine years later, I’m still struggling to shine the light of truth on the highly suspicious events surrounding my son’s demise. And Kyle Brennan—my bright and handsome child—still lies in an unmarked grave. Will you help me?
