Send Our Boat to Nationals

Hello everyone, we are Samia, Layla, Haley, Kayla, and Maddy, and we row for Olympia Area Rowing.
Our lightweight four has qualified for the National Rowing Championships in Princeton, New Jersey. This is very exciting, especially because we had no expectation of qualifying before last weekend. However, because of this, none of us had reserved the necessary flights or accommodations, and we are left with a lot of expenses in a very short time.
Nationals takes place June 10-12, but we are expected to be in Princeton to practice beginning on the 8th. Until then, we are trying to raise as much money as we can in order to cover rooms, flights, rental cars, and uniform needs. Unfortunately, many rooms and flights are already booked in the area, and so we are left with many of the more expensive choices. Some boat members have greater need than others, and so we will assess, once we recieve the money, how it should be distributed between families based on need.
Going to Nationals is very important to us. We have put in an intense season together in order to get this far. We will be training as hard as we can for the next two weeks and any help that we can get financially allows us to focus more on the rowing itself. It is Samia's last season with the team, and it is everyone but Maddy's first time qualifying for Nationals. We simply ask for any help we can get in fulfilling a dream we have all had for the past two or three years.
For every dollar we get, we will row just a little bit harder. Thank you for anything you are willing to give.
