26 Letters Summer Camp

About us?

26 Letters is a non-profit educational project in Beirut, Lebanon. The objective of the project is to offer quality education to children and teenagers who have been left out of the education system in Lebanon. To this end, 26 Letter is committed to a personalized education that consists of the conciliation of schedules, the adaptation of the subjects and in a relationship of one or two students per educator. The project started in 2015 thanks to the initiative of two Spanish sisters and the desire to learn English from a small group of children. Currently, 98 students study a complete curriculum in 26 Letters and no student has left 26 Letters since its inception.

☀️The first summer camp☀️

One of the short-term objectives of 26 Letters is to organize its first summer camp in 2019. The camp is organized by a group of volunteers** from Spain and it will host 20 children between seven and twelve years old. Many have to face social exclusion and poverty on a daily basis and have never had this opportunity. Therefore, during the camp a safe and caring environment will be provided to the children where they can have fun with freedom. The main objective is to offer the group of minors the opportunity to discover new places outside their city. the camp will take place in a rural environment so that children can have fun close to nature. During the camp, all kinds of games and activities will be held so that the children can be developed emotionally, physically and socially.
