26 Years of Joy for Disabled Youth - Świat na "Tak"

The "Świat Na Tak" Foundation in Warsaw, Poland has been organizing Integration Carnival Balls for young people with physical and intellectual disabilities for 26 years. The balls gather about 300 people with disabilities and several dozen volunteers. The first Ball took place in 1998 and did not have a theme, but the subsequent ones were given titles, which allowed participants to prepare wonderful costumes and compete for the title of King and Queen of the Ball.
Among others, we organized: "The Venetian Ball" (2001), "The Sweet Hearts Ball" (2002), "At the Royal Court" (2004), "The Underwater World" (2005), "Space Journey" (2006), "Snowy Land" (2007), "Latin Rhythms" (2008), "In the Land of Fairy Tales and Fables" (2023), "The Wild West" (2009), "Euro 2012" (2012), "The Heart Knocks in the Rhythm of Cha, Cha, Cha" (2015), "In the Land of Fairy Tales and Legends of Warsaw" (2017), "In the Rhythm of Bollywood" (2019), "In the World of Magic and Fantasy" (2020), "Carnival in Rio" (2022), "In the Land of Fairy Tales and Fables" (2023), "Colorful Comics" (2024).
It is a time of fun and joy that gives the participants the occasion to meet their peers, but also an occasion to leave the house. For many, it is one of the few pleasures and joys that brightens the dullness of days filled with therapy and medical procedures. Participants remember this Ball until the next year and from month to month, they ask when they can sign up for another meeting.
Integration Balls are not co-financed by any government or local government institutions. Funds for the Ball are collected exclusively among "people of goodwill" who want to support this form of work among disabled youth. To bring a smile to the faces of terminally ill people and those forgotten by the "powerful ones of this world". We want to help them with this by organizing Integration Balls.
For each Ball, to rent a room for 600 people, prepare a meal and attractions, we need to collect about 20,000 US dollars.
Please help the Foundation collect these funds to provide disabled youth with joy once a year and forget about the incurable diseases that plague them.
