Help Keep Billy in Downtown Clayton

Billy Farrell (or Billy the Lawn Guy) is a very special person to many residents in the Downtown Clayton Community. If you've been to Downtown Clayton, chances are you have seen Billy working in someone's yard, and it's impossible to drive through downtown without seeing some of his work. Billy works hard to make Clayton look like a great place to live, work, and visit.
I'm not sure exactly how long Billy has lived in Clayton, but I met him around five years ago. In the five years since I have known him, he has built an unbelievable business from walking door-to-door and business-to-business offering his landscaping services pushing his mower and equipment around town. The amount of work that he can handle as a one-man-crew is unbelievable.
Billy needs our help. He was living with family members. They had to suddenly leave the residence due to a mold problem. They have relocated outside of Clayton. If Billy leaves Clayton, he will lose his entire business that he has worked so hard to build, and will be without any source of income.
Several Clayton residents have looked into solutions to help. Getting Billy into one of the Senior apartment centers seems like the best solution. The problem is there is no telling how long it will be until they have a place for him. Lots of people have reached out offering to help Billy. The best thing that we can do is try to raise enough money to rent a house for Billy until something opens up.
Understandably, all of the property owners that we have spoken to are reluctant to rent to someone whose main source of income is seasonal. We are hoping that this campaign will raise enough money to pay for a few months rent in advance on a small house in Downtown Clayton. Please, if you can, help Billy continue doing the work that he loves to do.
"It's a job, man. You work as hard as you can until it's over, then you move on to the next one."
