Smiles for Myah

Please meet our precious friend Myah - a sweet, loving, funny girl full of life and personality! Born with Down's Syndrome, 15 year old Myah has courageously faced the reality of ongoing medical issues, not to mention the personal and social struggles associated with insensitive bullying, with courage, positivity and a contagious smile. She's definitely our hero and inspiration!

Dental issues are now threatening that beautiful smile of hers, as her teeth are starting to fall out. Not only is she facing the fear and trauma of losing her teeth and the effect this will inevitably have on her self-confidence as a teen, she is also experiencing serious choking issues from the absence of those teeth. Huge gaps have appeared between her remaining teeth making it very hard for her to chew properly. Myah will need approximately 6-7 implants to address her current dental needs, the cost of which is extremely high. Her mother is a single parent juggling the demands of work and school in an attempt to improve their immediate and future financial needs.
