Helping Hand

Hi everyone, my name is Frida Betofe and I’m fundraising for my youngest of four kids Mariyea. She was born with 2 birth defects which are Omphalocele and CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) which are rare birth defects. CDH is a condition, in which, a hole in the diaphragm allows the intestines, stomach, liver, and other abdominal organs to enter the chest cavity. This condition impairs the normal lung development. These defects have caused her to develop Pulmonary Hypertension. A type of high blood pressure that affects arteries in the lungs and in the right side of the heart. I’m asking for a helping hand because currently I am unemployed, and unable to pay bills or seek employment due to Mariyea’s condition and COVID-19. The cost of medical bills, housing bills, and cost of living are overwhelming.At this time, I am staying at the Ronald McDonald house with my other 3 kids, while Mariyea has been hospitalized from the time she was born fighting to survive. I have no transportation to take care of affairs, consistently struggling to make ends meet, while trying to maintain a daily living for my other kids. This situation has also left us having to find a new place of residence whenever Mariyea is discharged. Anything would help to bring stability to our living situation and bring a peace of mind .
