Louis' Surgery
Donation protected
Last night, my baby boy Louis was showing signs of stress, pacing, collapsing on the ground and whining. After spending all night at the ER, he was diagnosed with Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV) - a life threatening disorder commonly found in large breed dogs causing torsion of the stomach.
It takes minutes to hours for this condition to become life threatening. If the bloat left untreated, his veins would press and blood would stop flowing to his heart. He received a temporary fix to relieve the gas and pressure, but will undergo immediate surgery early tomorrow morning. Please pray he will have a smooth operation without complications.
This procedure is a serious, pricey one but I would do anything to save his life. Louis is not just a dog or a pet. He's my best friend, my family and the light of my life.
I hate asking for help but I was not ready to be hit with this surprise emergency expense. Anything you could contribute would really help me out in paying these costs would be such a blessing.
