Hello, my name is Martha Cheshire and I am trying to help raise money for my beautiful granddaughter Kennedy Grace Cheshire. On March 15, 2016 Kennedy was diagnosed with a rare brain disease called Moyamoya. Moyamoya disease is a rare, progressive cerebrovascular disorder caused by blocked arteries at the base of the brain in an area called the basal ganglia. The name “moyamoya” means “puff of smoke”. She was diagnosed with NF1 at 2, Seizures at 3 and now Moyamoya at 4. I am trying to help my son Robert and daughter-in-law Amber raise money for their amazing daughter Kennedy. This money will be spent on my son and his wife taking her to Boston Children's Hospital to have brain surgery done by one of the leading doctors that specializes in MoyaMoya Disease Dr. Ed Smith. Without this surgery, Kennedy will face many obstacles in her life one being having a stroke which could kill her. Please help us as we raise money for this precious baby.
