For those of us lucky enough to call Cheryl a friend we know this woman's heart is made out the magical kind of love you find in fairy tales, The kind of love that warms your heart when hear a good deed, or learn of a person that dedicates their lives to helping others. Cheryl is made of 2 parts love, 3 parts kindness and 1/2 everything we wish we were.
As you have probably heard Cheryl is now facing another brain surgery for a frontal lobe atypical meningioma on May 19, 2017.
She had a 14 hour surgery removing almost all of the 3" tumor in August, 2009. The olfactory groove tumor left Cheryl with no smell or taste. After aggressive post-surgery growth, Proton radiation therapy was the next attempt in 2011 at Massachusetts General resulting In stunting tumor growth for 6 years!
Unfortunately, there has been new tumor growth and skilled surgeons at Albany Medical Center will attempt to remove the almost 2" tumor again.
Prayers needed for a successful surgery to remove it in it's entirety without additional damage and to avoid radiation again.
To help ease the burden of yet another challenge in life, please consider donating a gift to help financial struggle with medical bills at this difficult time. Cheryl is on permanent disability fixed income and John recently retired.
Thank you.
