Bassoon for boy with cysticfibrosis

Will is a teenager with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a condition that has no cure and affects the lungs, and other organs in the body. Music is Will's greatest love. Sadly in less than 6 months he will finish year 12 and will have to return the hired school bassoon he has played for the last 6 years. We are raising money to buy him his own bassoon so he can keep playing the instrument he loves so much, give him a future filled with music, and to help keep joy in his life amidst the hospital admissions, antibiotics, twice-daily physiotherapy, inhaled medications for lung clearance, and medical appointments. Playing this instrument might also help his lungs, which are being damaged by the constant infections.
