SUPPORT FOR BELIZE FLOOD VICTIMS
Donation protected
Hurricane ETA has caused major flooding all over Belize within the past week leaving behind devastation to many families who reside in low line areas with water raising to the roofs of many homes.
Months ago, with the kind support of you guys I was able to help our island residents of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye with almost 20,000 hot meals as we were introduced to the global Covid19 pandemic with complete lockdowns.
Our island community takes pride in always coming together in times of need. As we go longer into the pandemic and barely any tourism many are still left jobless and businesses suffering. Island residents are cleaning out thier closets and I am gathering clothing, linens, household items to be shipped to the mainland to assist families in the rural areas. It's the least we can do in these critical financial times. (Spread the word if you know of anyone on the island who may have items to donate)
Clean drinking water is a major necesity at the moment along with non perishable goods. I would like to be able to purchase as much as possible to be shared in the different villages with your help.
I have organized with another prominent business owner and friend within the Cayo District to assist in distribution in the worse affected areas. We need this to be done as fast as possible. Sending clothing over by the end of this week 13th Nov.
You can read up some articles about the past work we did assisting others with your donations by lookig up San Pedro Hot Meals.
Thanks in advance for your kindness,
