sol’s transition & survival

hi everyone,

my name’s sol & i’m 19 years old, i currently live with my dad. i’m also a student returning to her studies after a short hiatus period.
i’m reaching out today because i sincerely need help as a trans girl looking to start her transition in the upcoming months — next year, firstly with hormones then moving onto certain surgeries hopefully later on.

i’d like to save up money for safekeeping so i can buy more clothes, beauty products & other things of this nature because i want to feel more comfortable with myself, to try and practice appearing more feminine presenting when out in public. my friend, shan, is helping me in regulating this gfm, since i do not have my own bank account yet (opening one v soon). 

i really could use some help to gain in donations. & i’ll be transitioning at my own discretion, and the money raised on this crowdfund will not only be used for expenses related to my transition (mainly private care which is unfortunately very costly / expensive, however remains the most effective way to access hormone & other gender affirming care quickly & efficiently), but could also ensure my safety in case something happens or i need to leave a situation in emergency since my family may react in a transphobic & non-accepting (violent) manner which could threaten my safety, if they were to find out; i especially fear my dad’s reaction, but this is something that i really need for myself to be able to feel happy and in complete control of how i want to begin looking and appearing on the outside. this is also part of the reason why i would like to move out of the house into my own studio apartment, which will be way more safer for me to be completely myself.

as of now i do not have a fixed income which is why i’m currently searching for work (i’m currently in the process of applying for a few different fields), while also trying to venture into my own self driven projects which can possibly help me to make more money on the side. 
i’ll definitely close this gfm soon, and i’ll take care of the rest of the procedures myself as soon as i am able to land a job opportunity somewhere, as i will then have the financial means to carry this on independently.

but i would love to be able to reach my goal on this crowdfund or at least reach half of the amount, so i can receive a helping hand in affording some of these money consuming tasks, until i can work & finally provide for myself.


i apologise for asking for help like this because i know others are struggling too right now.
but any amount at all can help out & simply even sharing this can be so beneficial too.
