Hello, my name is Kristine Bombardiere. My favorite person in the whole wide world, my twin
sister Sam, recently underwent emergency surgery to remove a large mass on her right ovary. Our family was devastated when we found out that the mass was malignant. I never thought I would be the person whose sister was diagnosed with cancer.
Sam is a freshman at Centenary College where she plays on the women’s soccer team. Not only is she an athlete who kicks serious butt on the soccer field, but she is also a straight A student. My beautiful, intelligent, caring, and hilarious sister needs your help.
Her treatment will be a long and tough battle, not only on her but also on my entire family. Financially, my family will be struggling with treatment, traveling, and added expenses that come with this upsetting diagnosis. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My family and I are extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and support that we receive.
