Spice vs Cancer
Donation protected
On behalf of the family and friends of Dennis "Spice" Vegas, we have created this gofundme page to help Spice win his battle against cancer.
When Spice initially went to the doctor with hip pain, the x-ray showed that he did not have any cartilage left in his hip, and he would need a hip replacement. Unfortunately, his MRI showed cancerous spots on his hip. Further testing indicated that the cancer had originated in his lungs before spreading to his spine and left hip. At this point, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenosarcoma.
About a week later, Spice's radiation oncologist told him he had another cancerous spot on his adrenal gland and the lymph nodes around his clavicles. The next day, his MRI showed 15 lesions on his brain, and one was bleeding. Doctors then told him he could no longer drive.
The good news is that a second opinion from MD Anderson revealed that his cancer is treatable! Spice's attitude is still upbeat, and he has been making those around him laugh as usual.
His family and friends would be extremely grateful for any donations, prayers, or words of encouragement to help him win this battle.
