Coach Petrucci-- House Fire

This morning Coach Petrucci lost his home, all of his clothes and memoribilia due to a fire. Coach Petrucci is someone who does a lot for many but never looks for anything in return. He will likely be mad when he sees this, but it is the least we can do for someone that does so much for others. Apart from his continued success at Ward Melville in being at the top of League I the last 4 years, multiple county championship appearances, a Long Island Championship, coaching stars like Steven Matz and Anthony Kay and many others, Coach Lou is a giver. He provided Ward Melville on his own with bullpens, dugouts, cages, a new mound and inspired so many in baseball and in life (myself included) as a Coach and Sixth Grade Teacher at Minnesauke Elementary School. Lou treats his classes and his teams as his own children. Coach Petrucci lives a life of baseball and as a baseball community all funds raised will be given to Coach Petrucci as he goes through a tough time.
