Recently, there was a two-alarm house fire that affected my family and I.
At first we were hesitant to ask for help because 2020 has been a really hard year for everyone. Then we realized that we have to cast our pride aside and learn to accept the love and kindness from our neighbors. We are lucky to be alive and safe through the fire but would really appreciate a little help getting back on our feet. I experience an asthma attack and difficulty breathing due to the heavy smoke inhalation but was swiftly rushed to the hospital and treated. We are all feeling a lot better now but there was severe water damage that resulted in the lost of some of our valuables, furniture, and essential items. All of your donations will go to food, replacing furniture, clothes to keep us warm, and helping us to find a new place to stay.
