Allen Curtis & Wife Susan: Covid 19

We need your support to help with the Curtis family’s expenses from the fight for Allen’s life against Covid-19! In early October Allen (my dad) was admitted to the hospital with Covid pneumonia. His oxygen level was very low, his blood gas level was in a danger zone, and over the next couple days breathing became increasingly difficult. That Wednesday he was placed on a ventilator. He spent 7 difficult weeks in the ICU but by the grace of God is on the long road to healing now, for which we are all so grateful. We could never have imagined the nightmare we’ve been living, and there was a time his medical team felt he wouldn’t survive. But he has and we are so thankful. He is still ventilated but is now in intermediate care and will soon be moving to a Long Term Acute Care Facility to rehabilitate and get strong again. While we are focused on our gratitude for his healing, the roller coaster we’ve been on has brought with it many expenses for my parents like loss of income, cost of accommodations, and medical bills. My dad has always made it his mission to give love and give support to our community and beyond in whatever ways he can, very often financially. This is a situation we never thought we’d be in and we are so thankful to all of the people who have helped our family through this time. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.
