Cash Thomasson's Medical Fund
Donation protected
On July 30, 2016 ten year old Cash Thomasson was severally injured in an accident on the Columbia River in Washington. He was transported by boat to Air Flight to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. Cash endured six hours of surgery to repair three compound fractures; his skull, his left femur, and two bones in his right wrist. He was in Intensive Care Unit at the Dorenbecher Children’s Hospital for 7 days. Cash has had many X-rays, MRI’s, physical therapy and more. He will require reconstructive surgery on his skull. It is not known the degree or duration of physical therapy, treatments/surgeries or other medical requirements Cash will face.
Cash and his family live, work and attend school in the Prineville/Powell Butte area. At this time it is not possible to know how long Cash will need to remain in Portland. We are his grandparents, Mike and Susie (Gage) Kelley. Please help support Cash’s medical bills.
Although the doctors are saying that Cash should make a full recovery, he has a long road to travel. Our family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the doctors, staff and rescue workers for getting Cash to his current condition.
Thank you for reading Cash's story. Support comes in many ways. Prayers are appreciated!
