27 Miles a day throughout August for Harry Collett
A team of 4, currently deployed overseas are raising money in aid of the Samaritans and every donation will help. Last August, I lost a dear friend Harry Collett to suicide at the age of 27.
In Harry's memory our team will run, bike, or row 27 miles everyday in August to reflect on the young age that we lost Harry, raising money for the 24/7 Samaritans helpline. The challenge totals 837 miles (1347km). Thank you in advance for your contributions to a cause which means so much to me.
About the Samaritans: The Samaritans' vision is that fewer people die by suicide. Every 90 minutes, someone in the UK or Ireland dies by suicide, and every six seconds, somebody contacts Samaritans. The helpline is staffed 24/7 by volunteers to provide an outlet or shoulder for anyone that needs it, and they need our donations to sustain this invaluable service.
