My Dad’s fight against cancer

(En Español a continuación) As some of you know, my Dad was diagnosed with cancer on October 6th, 2020. After a few doctors appointments and a CT scan, the doctors found small tumors in his bladder and a larger tumor in his right kidney. Since his diagnosis, my Dad has gone through two surgeries to remove the tumors in his bladder and will soon need a more invasive surgery where they will remove his right kidney and a portion of his bladder that has been affected by this cancer. Before undergoing surgery to remove his kidney, my Dad will also need chemotherapy treatments for the next three months. Medical bills from his two recent surgeries are beginning to pile up on top of the cost of chemotherapy. I am asking for any help from our family, friends and our community to help my parents pay for these medical bills. The stress of this diagnosis is weighing heavily on all of us and I would love nothing more than to be able to ease the financial strain my parents are going through. My parents are my best friends and you all know how close I am to my Dad. This is something I never thought we would be going through. Thank you so much for taking the time to read all of this. Después de unas citas médicas y una tomografía, los médicos encontraron pequeños tumores en su vejiga y un tumor más grande en su riñón derecho. Desde su diagnóstico, mi Papá ha pasado por dos cirugías para extirpar los tumores en su vejiga y pronto necesitará una cirugía más invasiva donde extirparán su riñón derecho y una parte de su vejiga que ha sido afectada por este cáncer. Antes de someterse a la cirugía para extirparle el riñón, mi Papá también necesitará tratamientos de quimioterapia durante los próximos tres meses. Las facturas médicas de sus cirugías recientes están comenzando a acumularse además del costo de la quimioterapia. Les estoy pidiendo ayuda a nuestra familia, amigos y comunidad para ayudar a mis padres a pagar estas facturas médicas.
