Oswego BUCs - Because U Care

Tax deductible
Thank you for finding our page!  Chances are you took the time because you can relate to the phrase "I bleed blue and white".  So much so, that you probably recognize certain shades of Blue as "Buc Blue"."

If you'll pardon the parody, right now our Buccaneer is injured.  He has literally had his legs taken out from under him.  Our district is currently in a VERY tough financial situation and recently announced a 40% cut to our athletic budget.  These cuts erased Varsity & JV Football, Varsity & JV Cheerleading, Varsity Girls Hockey, Varsity Wrestling and JV Girls Tennis teams from next year's schedules.  In the next wave of cuts, our entire modified sports program was decimated.

On so many levels we are struggling with the ramifications of what this could do to our kids and our community at large, and it's hard to understand how the kids ended up in the penalty box.  As a community, as the home team, we need to come together.  The loss of these programs hurts student athletes and the school spirit for our entire district.  The kids need everyone's help to bring sports back!!!

Under our GoFundMe page, you can choose what sport you wish to help sponsor, or you may provide general financial support for the Buc Boosters to distribute evenly among our athletic seasons.  Whatever the case, your dollars will go directly to support student athletes and programs!

We truly appreciate your contribution!!  We know you believe as we do, that the field, court, mat, and ice are better places for kids to be than on the streets.

Let's rally and support our Buccaneers!
