Wanda Pacheco’s Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Hello Everyone ,
This is a call for support!
On Tuesday December 1st, Wanda Pacheco had an unimaginable, devistating and unexpected accident. After leaving work, she collapsed after suffering what the Dr’s at Baystate Franklin found to be a brain aneurysm and bleeding in her frontal lobe of her brain.
Late Tuesday night she was transferred to baystate Springfield ICU, where she underwent surgery. The neurosurgeon attempted to access the aneurysm but was unsuccessful due to complications. While at Baystate Springfield, they discovered a devistating second brain aneurysm.
Wanda needed more help than Baystate Springfield could give her and she was transferred to Mass General in Boston via helicopter. There, surgeons with more technology and skill were confident they could intervene and save her. Thursday morning she was brought to surgery where the aneurysm was repaired using the woven endobridge device (WEB) which has saved her life.
The next 2 weeks will be critical in her recovery to determine the success of the operation. The road to recovery is going to be long and hard on not only her, but her family. She remains intubated in the neuro ICU where she will be for the coming weeks. It is still unknown the severity of the neurological side effects, which could possibly be a lifelong battle.
Wanda is the most selfless wife, mother and friend. She has never hesitated to answer the call to help anyone and has sacrificed so much to make sure her family was taken care of. She currently works in our community in our post office and has served us for 20+ years .
Please consider donating to Wanda and her family to help offset her medical expenses, and loss of income at home during this hard time .
Thank you, and God Bless .
