Hi, as some of you might be aware Kirk Deighton football club grounds were broken in to by the traveling community on 27/05/2016. This also happened the year before. To try and stop this being an annual thing we need to strengthen our defence. We are looking for help funding a new secure gate that will stop them from gaining access.
It's also the expense of the clean up once the police did move them on, they were there a full week so you can imagine the state of the pitch and grounds.
We as a community like to stick otogether, I know there was an increase in local break-ins while the travelers were staying. Let's try and put a stop to this.
So hopefully with help and generosity from you kind people we can get some funds together to prevent this happening again.
