UPDATE: Murphy went into surgery on Saturday April 20th and was given a fighting chance. After the extensive 5 hour procedure, he was given a chance with a successful surgery. We were given a glimmer of hope on Sunday afternoon when we were told he was making good progress and started eating again. Unfortunately, we received the devastating news on Monday morning that his stitching had failed and the surgery was not successful. Due to the rising costs of the operation, we could no longer afford to keep Murphy with us. He was able to pass peacefully as we were given the chance to say our last goodbyes.
We are heartbroken and devastated to have lost our best friend. Any further donations will be used to balance our remaining vet bills as they surpassed what we had previously anticipated.
We are grateful and appreciate any and all the help we have received.

Murphy is a corgi-heeler mix who has been an invaluable member of our family since day one. My wife Meagan was blessed to find him right before Covid happened and he has been the most loving, protective and caring dog. Sometime last week, he ingested something that is now caught in his upper intestine and without this lifesaving surgery we’ll have to put him down. With both of us in school starting and a baby under 1, the funds we have are not enough to put towards his surgery. We would appreciate any and all help so we can keep him in our lives for as long as we can.
The funds will be used for the surgery costs, and fee’s to ensure that he can make a strong recovery.
