Fight Pancreatic Cancer w/ Cindy H!

  On June 3rd, 2016, Cindy Hackett received the unfortunate diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer.  Although a common initial reaction would warrant panic and sorrow, the situation we find ourselves offers hope and encouragement.  
  Cindy’s unwavering spirit and attitude is powerful ammunition against the early stages of this illness, but coupled with her otherwise impeccable health, early detection, and isolation of the tumor, her situation is not only manageable, but conquerable.
   For those of you who know Cindy, you know that her loving and caring spirit for others dictates her daily actions and defines who she is as a person. The number of individuals Cindy's love has touched personally, professionally, or in passing, cannot be calculated. We now have an opportunity to reciprocate all the kindness, love, and support Cindy has emanated to others throughout her life. 
   Our family is creating this GoFundMe campaign to help offset any financial obstacles that will undoubtedly arise due to treatment and care. Navigating the countless financial unknowns--diagnosis, consultations, chemotherapy, surgery, meal planning, and other financial burdens--will be just as trying and challenging as defeating the illness itself. As Cindy is employed as an independent caregiver, her illness will surely impact the number of days and hours she is able to care for those who rely on her, further adding to the financial challenge. 
  Collectively, your thoughts, prayers, messages, and contributions  will support Cindy's fight against pancreatic cancer. We cannot thank you enough for the unwavering support our family has already received from family and friends and we look forward to updating you all on her progress.
