The Espinoza family

Hi, my name is Sophia True. On behalf of my family we’ve decided to start a fundraiser for my sister, Olivia, and her husband Danny. On April 30th Olivia was rushed to the ER for what they thought was appendicitis. She was told it was likely a ruptured ovarian cyst and was sent home. It was not. She was rushed back to the hospital 24 hours later and when she arrived they found she was in septic shock, and her blood pressure was dangerously low. We almost lost her. Over the weeks she has been transferred twice, been to 3 different hospitals trying to get proper treatment. She has had pneumonia, bronchitis, kidney failure, a horrible UTI, somehow contracted E. coli and of course sepsis. Thankfully she’s had several amazing doctors and nurses who truly saved her life. She is now at UC hospital. She still has a long road to recovery.

With that being said, she has obviously been out of work. Her husband Danny has missed a lot of work to be there at the hospital with her every single day, he has taken amazing care of my sister. The commute to and from the hospital and home to also take care of his kids (super dad) is very costly. The lack of income. And of course the medical bills to come. We would love to ease a little bit of this absolute nightmare for them and ask for donations. I know they hate asking for help so we will do it for them! Olivia and Danny have contributed to their communities for years through coaching, volunteering, and even through her job at the Cincinnati nature center, they have ALWAYS given back and now they need all the help they can get.
