Oklahoma Baptists & believers around the world are grieving as evangelist Charlie Keim left this life today & entered Heaven. I attended the Southwestern Seminary Extension Center at OBU back in the 80’s and was blessed to meet Charlie there a have several classes with him. If you want help his family with funeral expenses, please consider giving here! Please keep his wife Glenda & family in your prayers. ABOUT CHARLIE KEIM (His testimony from his website) I accepted Jesus at the age of 6 and led my first person to the Lord the next day. At age 9 the Lord began dealing with me about special service. I cleaned out a chicken coop and began preaching to my friends. At the age of 16, God revealed to me what that special service would be, He called me to preach. This calling came at Falls Creek in 1967 when Charlie Taylor was camp pastor. My dad, Buddy Keim surrendered to preach at Falls Creek in 1947, Charlie Taylor was camp pastor that year as well. Those two years were the only two years that Charlie Taylor preached at Falls Creek. God has gifted me with a passion for sharing the Gospel and blessed my efforts with many souls coming to Christ. In 2009 my wife Glenda and I were nearly killed in two separate accidents, Glenda in a horse riding accident on April 11, 2009 and me in a near fatal car wreck on December 4, 2009. Both of us have incredible testimonies of God's miraculous grace. After coming out of 7 weeks in a coma I had the privilege of leading 3 of my nurses to the Lord. I got out of the hospital on February 19, 2010 and by the end of that year we saw 275 people come to faith in Jesus. I was licensed to preach in 1974 and ordained in 1976. I earned a B.A. from Oklahoma Baptist University and a M DIV from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After serving as a pastor of Oklahoma Southern Baptist Churches for 32 years, God called me into full time evangelism in 2006. I have been in full time evangelism since that date. We are truly a faith based ministry and our trust is totally in the Lord who has provided our every need. I tell people that God is never late but He is seldom early. We come on a free will love offering and no church is too small or too large that we will not come. We make no demands on the church and come as servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
