Wolfe Family Medical and Adaptive Expenses

Donation protected

Hi my name is Nancie and I’m fundraising for Greg and Sally Wolfe;
I have known Greg and Sally since 1978. In 2014 Greg aged 57 was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and since then has been unable to work.
On July 28th, Greg fell off his mobility scooter and landed in the street. After a trip to the ER, it was discovered that he had a severe posterior shoulder dislocation and torn ligaments. The pain was immense. Greg was then sedated and his shoulder was reset. Unfortunately, the procedure, after being repeated 4 times, was unsuccessful. Because of Parkinson’s Disease the doctors feel that surgery to repair the ligaments would not be a good option for Greg right now. The Dr. ordered a brace that Greg will need to wear for 6 weeks to immobilize his arm and allow the ligaments to heal; the brace is cumbersome and uncomfortable for Greg.
 All in all Greg spent one week in the hospital and is now in rehab at Mercy Manor Transition. Currently, Greg and his family have medical expenses of $3000.00 plus 20% for the 7 day hospital stay and $200.00 a day for rehab. Funds will also be needed to retro fit the home to make it easier for Greg to maneuver once he goes home.

The funds raised will relieve the financial burden they are facing. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated!
