Harshita Brella Memorial Fund
Donation protected
With a heart shattered into a million pieces,
I, Sonia Dabbas, Harshita's sister, plead for your help to support our memorial fund.
My beautiful, vibrant 24-year-old sister, Harshita Brella, was brutally stolen from us in November 2024. She was everything to us – a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a beacon of love. Her life, so full of promise, was senselessly cut short.
Harshita's body was found in Ilford, East London, far from her Corby home. Her husband, Pankaj Lamba, is the prime suspect. But the investigation has been agonizingly slow, with police providing us with hardly any information. The suspect is still at large, compounding our grief and frustration.
My parents and I are in New Delhi. We have no family in UK. The distance is unbearable. We're desperately trying to navigate the unimaginable – the grief, the shock, the legal battles, the agonising wait for answers, and the logistics of being thousands of miles away. We plan to visit the UK and the financial burden of travel, accommodation, and other costs is overwhelming.
The Fund will also help cover these unexpected costs as we fight for justice for Harshita and answers about the stalled investigation. It will allow us to be closer to where she was taken, honour her memory, and ensure her voice is heard.
My Family have reached out to Amrit S. Maan OBE JP FRSA, a respected member of the British Indian community, to organise this GoFundMe aimed at raising funds for a memorial to honour and commemorate my sister Harshita, ensuring a positive and lasting contribution in her name. Regular updates and full transparency will be provided.
If you can't donate, please share this campaign.
Share Harshita's story. Keep her memory alive.
Hold us in your thoughts and prayers. Your compassion means the world. We desperately need your support to push for answers and justice.
Thank you for listening, caring, and helping us seek justice for my beautiful sister, Harshita.
From my broken heart, thank you.
Sonia xx
