CHRISTI COPPEDGE’S CANCER FUND

Donation protected

Please allow me to post this appeal about my dear sister, Christi Valentine Coppedge.

Christi is still a young 46 years old and has been married to her devoted husband Andy for 26 years and they have two beautiful daughters.

Christi, first and foremost, is a Christian who puts God first in everything she does.  She is kind, loving, and giving.  She wouldn’t hesitate to help out anyone in need, but now SHE is the one in need of help.

Her coming medical challenges will be quite daunting and overwhelming.  In spite of that, Christi is optimistic about the future and the journey she and her family are now facing.

Her best friend, Tammy Jo, and I are reaching out to share her story with you. Right after she was first diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer she went to work, and they let her go so she no longer has any income.

Any donations, small or large, will greatly lesson the stress on this family so they can focus on Christi’s wellness fight.  If you aren’t able to give financially, please share her post to as many as you can.  Most of all, please pray for Christi and her family as they weather this storm.

Thank you for your prayers, your thoughtful gift or donation, your consideration, and your help!

It means everything!

Below is the starting of Christi`s journey in her own words from her perspective. The updates will be in the updates for you to follow her story.

First and foremost I want to thank God for providing me with such an amazing family, friends & life. I'v had a minute to try to wrap my head around this and I'v had the opportunity to discuss with my immediate family & friends. Now I would like to share with you all. I found a lump early October two mammos, sonogram & biopsies indicate i have ductal carcinoma of my left breast & lymph node. Breast Cancer. With that being said. I am scheduled for a breast MRI, CT of my abdomen, chest & pelvis as well as a bone scan 12/9 to ensure it has not spread from my lymph node. I would appreciate your love & prayers especially for my girls right now. There is no way to soften this blow but my breast cancer specialiat says this is DOABLE!!! So with that I"m well aware of the ill effect that I am facing after watching my daddy fight lung cancer. She does suspect, surgeries, chemo & or radiation. However I am young, healthy, do not smoke, have no underlying condition so im pretty optimistic in about 18 months this will be behind me.
