With just a few days to go before the DNC in Philly I am asking my Bernie friends, my political comrades to help me cover the expenses to get to the convention.
The "establishment" wants us to feel the pain and the cost of bringing the Bernie Revolution to the Democratic Party. Let's not give in to the corporatist wing of the Democratic Party. Help us build on what Bernie has been doing for the past year.
I want to thank everyone for your support of Bernie Sanders and this historic adventure we are all part of. Any donations over my costs will go to help other Arizona Bernie Delegates.

As many of you know by now, I have been elected as Bernie Sanders National Delegate from Arizona CD-5. I am going to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in July and will fight like hell for Bernie !
This is a huge honor and I will represent you right down to the final vote on the last night of the convention, Bernie all the way !
The trip to Philly is on each delegate's dime, and the costs are way crazy ! The Arizona Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) are estimating the total cost at about $4,000 per delegate. The rooms at the Arizona Delegate Hotel the Airport Marriott Courtyard are $479 per night ! Even with roommates that's nutty expensive. Factor in Airfare, food and other expenses for five or six days and it all adds up.
I need your help to get to Philly for Bernie, to be at the Rules Committee Meetings, to be on the Convention floor working building the future movement for Bernie and for all of us.
No wearing silly hats and picture taking with celebrities. I will be networking with others from around the country to build the Bernie Movement and organize to take the Revolution both Inside and Outside the Democratic Party.
If you can contribute, any amount will help. Bernie would probably recommend $27 or $270 or any variation of the numbers 2 and 7.

A Little More About Dan:
Dan O'Neal is a former 60's political activist, retired History Teacher and lives with his activist wife Isabel in Gilbert Az.
A longtime supporter of Bernie Sanders, Dan started early on organizing the "We Want Bernie" Campaign with PDA. When the Sanders National Campaign came into Arizona he served as volunteer adviser and its Phoenix Area Coordinator.
Dan is the Arizona State Coordinator for PDA. He is a Precinct Committeeperson, a member of the ADP State Committee, and on the Executive Committee of the Arizona Democratic Party representing CD-5.
As PDA’s State Coordinator he has helped build several PDA Chapters in Arizona. He is a founding member of the Phoenix End The War Coalition. Dan has over the years built bridges in the Phoenix area with several key Immigrant Rights organizations and has been a leader in Phoenix against SB-1070, Joe Arpaio, Russell Pearce, Jan Brewer and the Right Wing hate machine in Arizona.
