In Memory of BJ Gifford

A few days ago, BJ Gifford wasn't feeling well. He felt dizzy and sweaty when he stood up. He had shortness of breath. Off and on, there was a pressure in his chest. However, when he reclined or laid in bed, the symptoms went away.
Late last night (June 3rd 2016), BJ was reclining in his chair and somehow it fell backwards, startling him. BJ laid on the floor for a few minutes and had Keani give him his meds. Then he went back to his room.
Shortly thereafter, Keani heard him fall out of bed. She heard gurgling and grunts. Keani called the paramedics. As they were preparing him for transport, BJ went unconcious and never woke up. The EMTs and ER staff worked for 45 minutes to no avail.
BJ leaves behind three kids: Tilea, almost 12 who will be attending her first Girls Camp this year, Orion, who is almost as good as his dad on electronics, and Caspian, the cutest little guy, who I had the privilige of seeing born! He also leaves behind my wonderful little sister who was his high school sweetheart. This Gofundme account is for them.
After complications from a recent miscarriage, Keani lost her job. She was their sole source of income while BJ was going through school at UVU. Keani will use this money to travel to WA State where BJ will be buried. Any additional money will go for living expenses until she obtains another source of employment. Keani has worked hard managing offices and buildings. She has her Bachelor's in Hospital Administration.
The Sanders Family and the Gifford Family greatly appreciate your help as we do all we can to support and care for Keani, Tilea, Orion, and Caspian during this exceptionally difficult time. I know that Keani (and BJ) sincerely thank you, too!
