My name is Jessica Hannon. Tim Smith and Melissa Elk's family agreed to accept help during this trying time and asked me to create a go fund me for them. This page was created to take a little burden off both Tim Smith and Melissa Elks family. Melissa and Tim were engaged to be married and were expecting their first child together. During delivery something went terribly wrong and Melissa passes away leaving behind her new baby boy (Brayden James Smith), and her other two sons coby lumpkins, and Ethan elks. Baby Brayden is currently at UK and is thought to have brain damage due to lack of oxygen during the delivery. Melissa did not have any life insurance, and now Tim and her family are trying to come up with funds to bury loved one and help in raising the three motherless boys left behind. Tim and the family have been driving to Lexington daily and taking time off work to be with baby Brayden. They will also have the medical bills for the baby to pay for. This family has been through enough without having to worry about bills and money. Many of you all knew and loved one or both of these people. Please find it in your heart to donate even a few dollars to help this family out in a time of need. If the roles were reversed i know each of you would want the same weight lifted from your shoulders.
