Team Gabby

In July of 2019, Gabby was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Stage 2. Gabby is the 16 year old daughter of Jon and Sue Hoefs. Gabby and family are currently working with a team of doctors and specialists at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.

Gabby began her path to becoming cancer free with a 10 day cycle of fertility preservation and will begin her chemo within the next week! Once her treatment begins, Gabby will undergo 3 consecutive days of chemo and then have 3 weeks off before 3 more consecutive days of chemo and 3 weeks off, continuing for 4 rounds (12 weeks).

The Hoefs family is taking this journey one day at a time as their days are now consumed with doctors appointments, phone calls from doctors, nurses, social workers, and pharmacists.  Jon, Sue, Gabby and Chloe are confident in Gabby's team of doctors and strongly believe SHE WILL BEAT THIS! 

Jon and Sue will use these funds to help with medical expenses, Gabby's wig and medical supplies, gas for their trips back and forth to Children's for Gabby's treatments and appointments,  as well as other unexpected expenses that arise during this journey to Gabby becoming CANCER FREE!
