285 Pizza new oven and cooler fundraiser
Donation protected
After now about 9 months or so of taking over ownership of the 285 Pizza business in Bailey, I have had nothing but heavy curveballs thrown at me from the get go. Everything from a decent chunk of debt that came with the business I've had to payoff to now my antique Blodgett oven quickly dying on me, and a cooler or two soon to follow.
My pride and ego have prevented me from making one of these for the past few months but after a large portion of my regular customer base and fellow business owners have brought it up so many times, I figured Id give it a shot and reach out to the kindness and generosity of this community that we've come to love and appreciate so much. Your patience with 3hr wait times and the notorious poor attitudes from employees years past has been astounding to see.
With the funds acquired we will be making some MUCH needed updates to the shop and equipment to finally be able to cut down those wait times. A new oven alone will pretty much guarantee waits no more than an hour even on weekends as I could finally bring on another chef to help me whip up these pies for you guys. The new/used deep freezer and cooler will allow for more space to store prepped veggies, dough etc. as well as hopefully finally cut down on some electric costs.
I know this business can be far bigger and better than what we are now, and as a mere 2 person operation still currently that is our goal and desire to be able to increase the amount of people we're able to serve every day...with the eventuality of dine in seating as well.
If you made it this far, I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read my rant even if thats all you choose to do. Please feel no pressure or pity for my situation as I will find a way no matter what with the amount of drive and motivation coursing thru my veins with this business. I keep at it and want to grow for myself as well as my 3 beautiful children's futures, and this beautiful mountain community obviously.
Thankyou again for even taking the time to click on the link and read thru this, much love and hope to feed ya soon!
