Jerry Trobaugh is a United States Air Force Veteran, as well as a retired Police Lieutenant.
It's been two years since Jerry's bike accident, and, man, has he been plagued with medical problems ever since! His severely torn up leg has pretty much healed, but the consequences have been lasting.
Jerry's latest situation follows a staph infection and a six-month antibiotic program.
His wife, Karen, rescued him from a care facility which was a horror for Jerry, but his congestive heart failure and shut down of organs requires a lot of care. He goes to a facility four times a week for dialysis.
They need help with the cost of home caregivers at night and the cost of transport to Dr visits.
Jerry is having trouble sleeping at night, and, of course, Karen needs to get sleep! He currently needs wheelchair transport. Kaiser covers dialysis trips, but everything else requires a transport service.
