Declan's Life Saving Heart Operation

Hi Everyone,
Firstly we would like to thank you so very much for visiting our link and helping our Dad to get the heart operation he needs to save his life. You have no idea the gift you are giving, you are helping save the life of the most intelligent, caring, loving and devoted father and friend anyone could ask for! We are more thankful than words could be expressed.
Well, this is our Dad. Goofy, life of the party, the jokester, the one always laughing and smiling, a loyal, generous, kind gentleman; Declan Fitzpatrick. A Kilkenny, Ireland native living in Thailand.
Earlier this year dad was rushed to the hospital and was admitted for having a stroke. He stayed in the ICU unit for days not knowing if he had permanent brain damage, if he could walk again, if he could talk again or would he even recover from the nightmare that was a stroke. Fortunately Dad is a fighter and a man that will never give up. I mean he was isolated for days on his own after having a major stroke with no normal comforts due to Covid, pretty out of it from medication and still managed to wrangle the mental and physical strength to push through, get better, get out of ICU and get himself on the mend again. Thankfully to his girlfriend, friends, the staff of Hua Hin Hospital and himself, he got better, did physio, and got his strength and voice back. He left the hospital in hope that he will get better. And he did even after learning that this was not his actual first time to have a stroke this year. He had a minor stroke around New Years 2 months previously but was never detected.
However, unfortunately, 2 weeks ago Dad was admitted to hospital unable to breathe on his own, exhausted, weak and not half the man we are all used to knowing. We did not know what was going on again and later we were told his heart was operating at half its capacity. For 5 days we remained in the dark about what the issue was and what the solution could be to get dad back into full health and out of the hospital. Covid was not the issue thank god but we knew something more serious was happening again with his heart.
This time round Dad needs a stent put into his heart. Plain and as simple as that. But without it he will die.
You all probably know someone who has had heart conditions and if you don't (lucky you) just ask someone and they'll know someone who has. So getting the stent in is the easy part. But for my dad and our family coming up with 11,000 euro for surgery alone, and some for after care, flights home to Ireland and after everything we have already had to deal with earlier this year as well as trying to keep ourselves a float during a pandemic, that's the hard part. And this is why we are reaching out to all you fine people, our friends, generous strangers to ask for a bit of help in order to save our Dad's life.
To you all, we are forever in your debt and we thank you from the bottom our hearts for your selfless contributions and endless support through messages and phone calls. We could and would not be able to do it without you all!
